Product Description
PLA (Poly-Lactic Acid or Polylactic Acid) is a thermoplastic derived from the starch of maize. Because PLA originates from biological sources, this type of thermoplastic is biodegradable under suitable conditions (e.g., active compost, with sufficient influx of oxygen) and therefore presents a significantly lower environmental impact than fossil fuel thermoplastics.
Product Feature
PLA is a hard plastic that is as flexible as ABS. PLA is neither brittle nor brittle and convinces with its high strength and rigidity. PLA has hardly any warping (warping), lowest shrinkage and can therefore be easily printed on printers without heatable printing bed.
